The Polar AXN Series Heart Rate Monitors are the perfect solution for the outdoors-y exerciser looking for a multi purpose watch.

Not only does the Polar AXN Series give you Polar’s well trusted heart rate technology, but it provides you with all the features necessary for a successful hike or an outdoor adventure.

The Polar AXN Series consists of three models – the Polar AXN300, the Polar AXN500 and the top-of-the-line Polar AXN700. As the model number increases, so does the watch’s number of features. The Polar AXN300 is the more basic of the three, and the Polar AXN700 has the widest variety of features.

Each of the watches in the Polar AXN Series has Heart Rate features similar to those of the Polar M61, one of Polar’s popular middle ground Heart Rate Monitors. These include Polar’s patented OwnCal and recordings of the total exercise’s maximum and average heart rates. In addition, the AXN Series give altitude, barometer, mobile connectivity, commuter connection, and recording features. They differ only in the extent of these features.

The Polar AXN300 is the most basic of the three members of the Polar AXN Series. It comes in black and yellow styles. The Polar AXN500 includes a few additional features – a compass for directional information, the soft Wearlink chest strap, and a steel face. The Polar AXN700 goes on to include a heart rate test, the goal of which is to make sure that your body is acclimated to extreme conditions. The AXN700 also comes in a titanium case.

Now that you know about the Polar AXN Series and the differences between its three models, it’s time to choose which one is best for you and the conditions in which you’ll be using the watch. Whichever you end up choosing, you’ll surely be very pleased with the watch.
