The Oakley Thump 2 has revamped some of the key aspects that users of the Oakley Thump 1 complained of. Most crucially, Oakley Thump 2 brings a much more streamlined look to the glasses that hold the state of the art digital music player.

The Oakley Thump 2 is based on the new Oakley Gascan blueprint – sleek and clean looking, the new Oakley Thump 2 is considerably smaller and closer fitting that its predecessor. This means that the Oakley Thump 2 is ideally suited to women as well as men.

Improved Earpiece Mechanism

Oakley has gone back to the drawing board with the most important functionality of the Oakley Thump 2 – the earpieces.

The Oakley Thump 2 loses the awkward looking flip up lenses (that to be honest looked pretty goofy) and has incorporated a cleverly engineered dynamic earpiece interface that allows users of the Oakley Thump 2 to listen to their tunes whilst resting their glasses on their heads. We take our hats off to Oakley for this innovative solution and are very impressed with the practical solution to a critical flaw in the earlier model.

Memory Boost

Coinciding with the launch of hot digital music technologies from big players like Apple and Sony, Oakley has made a point of boosting the memory capacity of the Oakley Thump 2. You're likely to see versions of 512MB and 1GB to hit during the launch. Expect the same fool-proof, drag-n-drop USB 2.0 powered interface to charge, load and swop out files from you new Oakley Thump 2's.
